3 healthy recipes for kids that quick and easy to prepare

As temperature increases and the day gets longer many are looking for quick refreshing snacks that are easy to make and can be turned to a fun family activity with kids. 

Here're 3 healthy recipes:

 

Crispy Fruit & Veggie Chips

Fried potato chips can be very tempting but in just a few steps it can be easily replaced with healthier options like baked fruit and veggies chips. First, while you preheat the oven to 375°F, peel thin slices of your favorite fruit or veggies such as apples, mangos, kiwi, oranges, pineapples, carrots, and beets. Then, remove any excess liquid and let them rest for a few minutes. For seasoning, you can add olive oil with a sprinkle of salt. Now, bake for 15-25 minutes until it reaches your desired level of crispness & Bon Appétit! 

 

Refreshing Yogurt-Covered Strawberries 

Great mix for a cool and easy-to-make snack, all you have to do is dip Strawberries in plain or berry flavored Greek Yogurt. Then, place them in the freezer for 2 hours and to decorate you can add an extra layer of chocolate or peanut butter with a dash of sprinkles. Lastly, serve & enjoy! 

 

Healthy Ice cream & Popsicles 

Fight summer heat with a healthy homemade ice cream, just fill cups or biscuit cones with layers of yogurt and whatever you prefer of fruits such as peaches, mangoes, bananas or berries, strawberries and cherries. If you like to decorate you can add a swirl of honey and then eat immediately or let it freeze for 1-2 hours as you desire.
